Haunted by the brutal death of her sister Ruth, Ella Scott begins to believe that Ruth’s murderer, her boyfriend Ben Forrester, has turned his attention to Ella from behind bars and she thinks she is being stalked by his brother, Jamie. When Ella finds a message from Ruth mentioning the pharmaceutical company Muir Pharma, and her friend Laura who works for the company, she realises there may be more to uncover about her sister’s death.

 Her search for answers takes her to Scotland where she becomes caught up in the web of corrupt CEO Sam Renwick. As more truths emerge and Ella’s own life is threatened, she realises that she must stand and fight for justice for herself and her sister.
