Locations in Under A Brighter Sky

Geneva, Saint-Maurice and Annemasse are important locations in all the books with Nyon and the Risoux Forest featuring in key scenes in book two.

North of Geneva, the Risoux Forest stretches across the border into France and was another main escape route into Switzerland.

The France / Switzerland border runs through Lac Léman, with the north bank in Switzerland and most of the south bank in France, including the spa town of Evian-les-Bains. The town of Saint-Gingolph is on the border, with half the town in France and half in Switzerland.
